The Jakopič Gallery, one of the main gallery spaces in Ljubljana, Slovenia, that focuses exclusively on photography, will host a photo exhibition to showcase some works of Indonesian photographers in 2020. In preparation for the exhibition, we are organizing a Meet Up as a sharing session between Marija Skočir (Curator of the Jakopič Gallery, Ljubljana), Saša Kralj (Founder of Živi Atelje DK, Zagreb) and Indonesian photographers & communities. Indonesian photographers are encouraged to submit their projects that reflect various understandings and depictions of community produced in the last 15 years and in different styles and approaches.
Join us in this precious discussion to find out more about photography in Indonesia and Slovenia, as well as the opportunity to showcase your work in Europe.

SAŠA KRALJ (Founder of Živi Atelje DK, Zagreb)
Jakopič Gallery, salah satu galeri utama di Ljubljana, Slovenia, yang berfokus pada fotografi, akan menyelenggarakan pameran foto yang memamerkan karya fotografer Indonesia dengan tema “COMMUNITY” pada tahun 2020 mendatang.
Sebagai persiapan pameran tersebut, kami mengundang fotografer & komunitas fotografi Indonesia hadir di Meet Up, 24 Juni 2019 jam 14:00 WIB di Jakarta Creative Hub, Classroom A untuk bertemu dengan Marija Skočir (Kurator Galeri Jakopič, Ljubljana), dan Saša Kralj (Pendiri Živi Atelje DK, Zagreb) yang akan bertindak sebagai co-curator pameran.
Dalam sesi ini, mereka tertarik untuk melihat proyek-proyek fotografer Indonesia yang mencerminkan pemahaman dan penggambaran tentang COMMUNITY, dibuat dalam berbagai gaya dan pendekatan dalam kurun waktu 15 tahun terakhir.
Bergabunglah dalam diskusi ini untuk mencari tahu lebih banyak tentang fotografi di Indonesia dan Slovenia, serta kesempatan untuk memamerkan karya kalian di Eropa.
